"The intimacy of a garden"
This work is located in a private center that is how a golf course with stunning views and lush vegetation. Construction standards of urbanization prevent the closing of the lots with adjoining walls allowing access to the golf course from each of the land. The specific location has a slope that rises from the access road about 3 feet to the end of the batch.
The project idea was based on an important ground motion that would allow housing have access to street level to maintain this level so that the house will apparently burying as it develops. This generates protection of the walls to direct sunlight.
The property is defined by individual layers of concrete blocks that support a roof plate works and water reservoir. This pond has a thermal barrier function as the average temperature in Paraguay is quite high.
All interior spaces turn their views to a private garden, created by the very uneven terrain, which contains a pair of adult ybyrapyta. Opposed to these openings there is a wooden placard 15 meters long that is linking to all spaces. The predominant materials are precast concrete, natural wood and glass.
A future extension of this apartment of 115 sqm building is expected to "beam" rectangular prism supported by four pillars at a height of 3.00 meters from the street elevation. Follow the same line parallel to the street on the municipal line and perpendicular to the current volume. Contain the social programs and dining room with openings that allow communication with the terrace (now pond) and then with the garden. The lower volume will maintain its intimate nature of adding a room in the current dining room space.
