This is one of the most remarkable survival stories of all time: the story of a group of young people who survived for 72 days at an altitude of 4,000 meters in the heart of the Andes Mountains after their plane crashed there in October 1972. The plane crash deaths, injuries. Rescuers that never appeared. Discouragement. The hunger that slowly takes over them. The decision to eat the bodies of his friends died in the accident. Avalanches. The superhuman effort not to surrender, to not let it die. Up on the mountain, a new society took shape: there were no leaders, only a gradual succession of personalities as the events that precipitated and dreamed of achieving a common goal: get out of that hell and back together to life. The director is a childhood friend of several survivors and managed, finally, 35 years after the event, speaking for the first time in front of a camera.
