Homosexuality. SYNOPSIS
60 years Los Angeles in 1962, at the height of the Cuban missile crisis. George Falconer (Colin Firth) is a homosexual British college professor 52 years struggling to find meaning to his life after the death of her boyfriend, Jim (Matthew Goode). George recalls the past and can not see their future, especially on a day in which a series of events and encounters leads him ultimately to decide whether life has meaning after Jim. George is consoled by her closest friend, Charley (Julianne Moore), a 48 year old beauty who is wrestling with his own doubts about the future. A young student, Kenny (Nicholas Hoult), who is trying to accept his true nature, haunts George because he sees in him a kindred spirit. (PRO)
