SYNOPSIS:
Ernesto (Martin Hahn) is a seventeen year old living in Trieste in 1911. Their father abandoned him and his mother (Lisi Virna), so his aunt Regina (Concha Velasco) and his uncle Giovanni (Francisco Marsó) received them at home. To get money, Ernesto works in the office of a company, but very often have to go to deal with workers carrying bags of material.
One day he meets a of these workers, a large man who looked like a bandit, a mustache and a red scarf always wears on his forehead. However, Ernesto is in love, and he suggests. At first, Ernesto is a little scared, because he has never done it with anyone, let alone with another man, but in the end just by clicking. Then
